Radical Media: Reviewmaker

Reviewmaker is Radical Media's internal review front-end for its CMS. It enables producers to share images, videos, and documents relating to their productions. It is also used by our sales team to present director's reels as well as coordinate content between internal teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead engineer and product manager. Responsible for all front-end functionality, coordinating between design and engineering, setting milestones and a roll out schedule

 Takeaways:

1. Built out using Require.js and AMD. This was my first time building vanilla javascript with an extensive module architecture, and it convinced me that most websites can function well without the overhead of a large framework
2. Originally there was no user outreach even though almost every single employee at Radical Media uses Reviewmaker. I took the initiative to start an education program for new users as well as conduct user interviews to determine pain points and test new features before putting time against them.
